CASE STUDIES : Shoefest.com - SEO Services

 

When we started working with the www.shoefest.com website it was nearly a startup with about a hundred daily visitors. The main idea behind the SEO campaign was to bring this online store into the row of the top online shoe stores and to make the customers notice not only the models of the shoes or the prices, but also make shoefest.com a name and a brand of it’s own value.


On site optimization techniques such as meta tag optimization, keyword density and code optimization boosted up Shoe Fest’s search relevancy for chosen keywords making a store attractive not only for customers but for search engines as well. A website’s presence on the web highly depends on the number of incoming links from relevant websites, catalogues, and social networks. The more exposure a site gets the more visitors and potential clients will visit it. Incoming links are also important since search engines judge about sites’ popularity and relevance for search using link count.


During the SEO campaign SEO Consultant focused on the following steps:

Results

By the time this case study is written, the Shoefest.com website receives at least 10 times more visitors from search engines than it was when we started. And apart from the traffic related to the cheap prices and the comfort, which was present at the start of the campaign and multiplied since then, the site is now getting significant amounts of traffic for general keywords related to women’s shoes. At the moment Shoe Fest is a well recognized brand and “shoe fest” has become an independent search query with high search value.
